Monika Lavan: a Potential Cambodian Female Scientist

I recalled the day I gave a cute, lovely girl a ride to Zaman School for her science class competition. A few weeks later, I heard that she won the first prize in her school. Now even much better and incredible news that she is the only Cambodian student who has been awarded a Silver medal for her project in the I-SWEEP 2008 competition. She then has been awarded a scholarship to Rice University in Texas. I am proud of her.
