Although I did not wear a Red shirt today, my heart is with the Burmese people, what they had been through in 1988, and what they are going through right now.

I feel very sad and somewhat happy, sad because innocent people and especially monks have been killed and somewhat happy because democracy will prevail like its neighbor, Indonesia.

I think when someone sends troops to kill his people let alone monks, he is not a leader; because a good leader does not feel threatened when his people are trying to feel better.
